Seven Day Milebuilder

For relative newcomers such as those who have recently completed their RYA Competent Crew, a sailing Milebuilder will help you to consolidate your knowledge, actively participate in passage-making, and log more miles and night hours.

For newly-qualified or inexperienced Day Skippers, this may be a chance to take responsibility for planning passages and pilotage away from familiar waters, and managing a vessel on passage under the watchful eye of an experienced skipper.

On the longer events there will be opportunities to work overnight passages, stand watches, improve your boat-handling, see new places and take in the huge variety of sights and experiences that the English Channel can offer.

For all aboard, a Milebuilder may also provide the opportunity to log qualifying passages to count towards the ultimate goal of the RYA Yachtmaster™ qualification.

N.B. We require that all students under 16 are accompanied by an adult. If you are 16 or 17 and wish to book the course unaccompanied by an adult, please contact our office to discuss whether this would be suitable.
